The 1st Annual GreenLight Gala

Benefiting Friends of the Children - Boston  

On September 29, 2005, the GreenLight Fund hosted the 1st Annual GreenLight Gala to spotlight Friends of the Children-Boston. The Gala introduced Friends of the Children to more than 250 guests.

The Gala is a key way the GreenLight Fund raises funds and recruits champions for the organizations it supports. Every year, the Gala will spotlight and benefit the most recent organization GreenLight has helped launch in Boston.

Thanks to the generosity of corporate and individual Sponsors, the 1st Annual GreenLight Gala raised over $185,000! The GreenLight Fund covered all costs of the Gala, enabling 100% of these funds to go directly to support the important work of Friends of the Children-Boston.

Thank you to all of our supporters and Sponsors who made the 1st Annual GreenLight Gala a tremendous success! We look forward to continuing this tradition with the 2nd Annual GreenLight Gala in 2006 benefiting Raising a Reader- we hope to see you there!
