  • Importance, size and urgency of need being addressed
  • Innovation and quality of model for making a direct impact
  • Demonstrated program outcomes, including social impact and client satisfaction
  • Deep, life-changing impact on individuals and/or
  • Power of idea to create systemic change

Community Need and Replicability in Boston

  • High opportunity for local ownership and adaptation
  • Importance, size and urgency of need in Boston area – absence of a similar program
  • Community’s willingness to embrace/support new initiative
  • Transferability of core program modules and funding model to Boston

Ability of GreenLight to Add Value

  • Need of candidate organization for funds, at the GreenLight capacity level, and local knowledge
  • Good match with potential donors
  • Openness of original organization to GreenLight involvement
  • Need of candidate organization for local board and local champion
